2016 Lucy Margaux Blanc de Noir Pét Nat
Blanc de Noir is a Pétillant Naturel (Méthode Ancestrale) made from... grapes.
But despite the label's incredibly brief description, it is a little more serious than that.
Blanc de Noir is made from Pinot Noir which was hand-harvested then whole-bunch pressed quick enough that the red skins didn't impart any colour.
What's in the bottle: just grapes. But you'll get ripe peach, grapefruit, lemon-lime citrus and plenty of acidity, giving you just what you want in any pet nat; a beautiful, refreshing sparkling wine.
Oh and there are a few actual grapes in the bottle too. For tradition's sake of course.
All 2016 wines from Lucy Margaux are from organically farmed fruit and were bottled without fining, filtration or any additions of any sort. True natural wines. Sans sulfites - no sulphites (preservative/220) added.
