2016 Lucy Margaux Vino Rosso
Vino Rosso is a blend of all things red and white that Anton harvests each year.
In the past we've always treated Vino Rosso as a "dark rosé" to be served chilled but this vintage offers enough complexity that it could easily be enjoyed at red wine temperatures too.
A blend of Pinot Noir, Merlot, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and a few other things, expect lush red fruit, spice, salinity and acidity. The palate is round and juicy. The finish is long and fresh.
This wine is incredibly universal. When served colder the wine is juicy and refreshing, but a little less expressive on the nose. When served warmer the wine is bright and inviting, but perhaps not quite as thirst quenching. The solution: open cold and enjoy over enough time to see it evolve in the glass.
All 2016 wines from Lucy Margaux are from organically farmed fruit and were bottled without fining, filtration or any additions of any sort. True natural wines. Sans sulfites - no sulphites (preservative/220) added.
